- My art comes from a place of deep intuition. To create a piece, I search for images and found objects that represent a mythological understanding of the human condition. The inspiration can come from classic myths, indigenous art or even pop culture. My work juxtaposes the common place with the impossible, creating an active and theatrical production of ideas. I came across your piece - and your artwork - while searching to see if any of Donna's work was on the web. What a wonderful and appropriate tribute. Donna and I were friends from age 11, when we were in junior high, and the friendship lasted the rest of our lives. (If you were at her memorial, I probably met you - I came out from Montana for it).
Thank you for a beautiful piece - and for bringing our beautiful friend to mind once again.
